Famous professional wrestler Natalya will take part in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII and the NWA event while being contracted with WWE. She recently opened up about this unique move on “The Ariel Helwani Show.”
In her words, “I was instrumental in making this happen, it required a lot of hard work and preparation. Considering my tenure and image in WWE, this development might come as a surprise to many. I am excited about the idea of taking a leap beyond my comfort zone and doing something unexpected. I have reached a stage in my career where I crave a change of scene. Josh Barnett is a trusted friend and professional who I respect immensely. I spoke to him and expressed my interest in being part of WrestleMania week, just like Shayna did last year. Both Triple H and Josh were very supportive of this idea. It’s not about re-entering the division and being part of the usual, but taking my career to a new place. This move helps me prove that I am one of the greatest female wrestlers in the industry. Besides Josh, I also approached Billy Corgan of NWA and expressed my desire to be on his show. The plans were subject to schedules aligning due to the WrestleMania week. Both Nick Khan and Triple H were supportive and encouraging about my decision. I am glad to have this opportunity, which I could not have even imagined before.”
Professional wrestling promotion Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) have recently announced that Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes will join their charity event for Chris Bey titled “Beynefit for Bey”. The event is set to take place in Las Vegas on March 23rd.
Other renowned wrestlers like Karrion Kross, Swerve Strickland, John Morrison, Rich Swann, Brian Cage, Danny Limelight, Sam Adonis, Alex Zayne, and Kenny King, among others, are also expected to perform at the event.
