Former NFL player and current TNA World Champion, Moose, suggests that Rob Gronkowski, a retired NFL star, has the capacity to be successful in professional wrestling. Moose, who was teammates with Gronk in the NFL at one point, spoke highly of Gronkowski’s character and asserted that the famed four-time Super Bowl winner has the potential to earn a spot in the wrestling Hall of Fame. This is based on his triumphant football career and previous wrestling performances in WWE.
During a recent chat with “Gabby AF,” Moose shared his insights on Gronkowski. He stated, “The one person who comes to my mind is, he was a colleague of mine, Gronkowski. I consider him a muscle-brain, but I think it’s a well-known fact about him, that he’s a muscle-brain, he’s something of a walking goofball, but he possesses remarkable talents. As oblivious as he may seem [laughs] and as brawn-obsessed as he is, he’s a truly wonderful person. But he possesses that special ‘it’ factor. When you set your gaze upon him, you’re left awestruck, there’s something unique about him. Without a shadow of a doubt, he’s athletic considering his NFL tenure, and he’s a Hall of Famer. So, in my opinion, he’s one of those personalities that can be an excellent pro wrestler if he sets his mind to it.”
In the past, Gronkowski graced WrestleMania 33 in 2017 by appearing in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to back his buddy, Mojo Rawley. Gronkowski also played the host at WrestleMania 36, broadcasted on April 4-5, 2020. Notably, he secured the WWE 24/7 Championship on the event’s second day. The next fortunate event was when he bagged a Slammy Award as Celebrity of the Year in WWE.
