‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James has been able to make amends with CM Punk now that the former AEW World Champion is once again a WWE Superstar.

As the host of his own podcast, James has often taken issue with Punk, who has often been critical of WWE’s creative process that James has been a part of for years.

On a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, James spoke about his past issues with Punk and how they have been able to move on. He said,

“All that negativity came out of me when he looked at me and he shrugged. And it’s like that ‘Brothers, don’t shake hands, brothers gottta hug’ thing, and we hugged. It made me feel good for him to do that, by the way.”

“It made me immediately feel ashamed of my behavior, not his, not anything he did. It made me ashamed of my behavior. We then had a couple of ‘I believe God works in mysterious ways,’ and he worked that weekend. That weekend, I was stuck in Stamford. Every bit of it was orchestrated to put me and Punk in certain situations. We were just put together for like five days in a row working together and speaking about the future, and working with what I do in my job.”

James added that his experience with Punk convinced him to “look at everyone through God’s eyes” and try and be less negative in his life.

Former WWE Superstar ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James and CM Punk have put their past issues behind them now that Punk has returned to WWE. James, who has been critical of Punk’s comments about WWE’s creative process, recently spoke about how they were able to move on and mend their relationship.

During an episode of his podcast “Oh You Didn’t Know,” James shared that all the negativity he had towards Punk disappeared when Punk shrugged at him. This gesture reminded James of the saying, “Brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta hug,” and they hugged it out. James admitted that this made him feel ashamed of his behavior and not anything that Punk had done.

Interestingly, James revealed that he and Punk were put together for five consecutive days, working and discussing the future. He believes that this was orchestrated by a higher power to bring them closer and help him reflect on his actions. James stated that this experience made him realize the importance of looking at everyone through God’s eyes and trying to be less negative in his life.

The reconciliation between James and Punk is significant for wrestling fans as both individuals have played important roles in the industry. James, known for his time in WWE as part of the popular faction D-Generation X, has been involved in the creative process behind the scenes for many years. Punk, on the other hand, gained fame for his outspoken nature and his memorable WWE Championship reign.

This development also raises questions about the potential for a future collaboration between James and Punk within WWE. While nothing has been confirmed, their recent interactions and discussions about the future suggest that there may be opportunities for them to work together again.

For fans of professional wrestling, this reconciliation between ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James and CM Punk serves as a reminder that relationships can evolve and change over time. It also highlights the power of forgiveness and growth, as both individuals were able to move past their differences and find common ground.
