Road Dogg Credits Triple H & Stephanie McMahon For Pivotal Role In Women’s Revolution
– ADVERTISMENT –

The ‘Women’s Revolution’ would not have become what it is today without the efforts of Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, according to DX-ally ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James.

In 2015, WWE began to show a greater focus on its women’s division on the main roster and would ditch the term ‘Divas’ the following year.

Speaking on his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, James praised the Game and McMahon for their role in elevating women’s wrestling. He said,

“I think it was Hunter and Stephanie, I always give them credit for stuff like that because they’ve always been hypersensitive to equality and equal representation and stuff like that.

“I mean, look, under his ‘NXT’ stint down there, he’s done a lot of things for women’s wrestling. So I always give them the credit in my mind.”

In 2018, WWE hosted its first all-female event ‘WWE Evolution’ and WrestleMania 35 the following year would see the show’s first women’s main event.
