While The Undertaker is often held in high esteem by numerous wrestlers and spectators, RJ City has shown no qualms about gently ribbing the legendary Phenom.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend”, RJ opened up about his opinion on the ex-WWE World Champion and commented,
“I always tease The Undertaker as I subscribe to the concept of punching up, and he’s the guy at the peak… It’s a fun thing for me. It’s uncommon for this to happen, I do it and it seems to amuse people. ‘Am I the sole person making jokes about him? This is peculiar. He’s strange. He’s an odd mortal who’s deceased.’”
While chatting in a podcast, RJ City related an incident when he made a casual remark about how he finds the Deadman peculiar, which led to him becoming the recipient of a barrage of angry tweets.
Aside from being a podcast contributor, RJ also has a backstage role with AEW and is responsible for the Mariah May vs. Toni Storm narrative.
Next month, The Undertaker might become even more fodder for jibes when WWE organizes The Roast of WrestleMania event in Las Vegas post WrestleMania 41.
