Ring Of Honor Begins Schedule Of Spotlight Episodes With The Briscoes

Briscoes

Unlike AEW and WWE, Ring of Honor is not moving forward with tapings for their TV show until at least June. With the gap in programming coming up, the company has announced plans to air a series of spotlight episodes that will bring up big moments in the careers of specific tag teams and singles stars. This starts this week with the two men who have been with the company since the beginning, Mark and Jay Briscoe.

ROH promises to show the Briscoes defending the tag belts against Kevin (Owens) Steen and El Generico in a match from 2007. They’ll also broadcast the two brothers facing each other for the ROH World Championship, which happened in 2013. Between the in-ring action, ROH will air new interviews with the Briscoes from their chicken farm in Sandy Fork.

If that’s not enough action, ROH has been posting full matches on their YouTube channel far more quickly than normal, including an hour of action with current WWE star Samoa Joe. Even if there aren’t new matches hitting the airwaves, there’s plenty of grappling to take in.
