Ring of Honor Announces Changes To Death Before Dishonor Fallout; Rush Not Medically Cleared to Compete
In a new video by Ring of Honor, the company announced a handful of changes to Saturday’s planned ROH Death Before Dishonor Fallout show. According to the company, Rush – the newest ROH World Champion – has not been medically cleared to compete, and will miss his planned match tonight with his brother, Dragon Lee. The pair were originally scheduled to have a match against Villain Enterprises, but with Rush out, a new main event has been scheduled.
The newest main event will see Dragon Lee and The Briscoe Brothers taking on Villain Enterprises in a six-man tag team match, for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. After Lee’s appearance at Death Before Dishonor, it seems as if he’s getting another shot at becoming a champion.
Ring of Honor also announced that Bandido had suffered a knee injury and has returned home to Mexico. The company wouldn’t specify just what the injury was, but did note that it was in his knee, and that he wasn’t at the show. The Death Before Dishonor Fallout show is also scheduled to see PJ Black take on Jay Lethal for the number one contender’s spot at Decembers ROH Final Battle, so there’s still plenty of great matches to check out.
