Ring Of Honor 19th Anniversary Pay-Per-View Adds Grudge Match
After signing with Ring of Honor, EC3 vowed to finish his feud with Jay Briscoe (which was originally meant for the Final Battle pay-per-view but COVID-19 derailed the match). That’s exactly what will happen at ROH’s 19th Anniversary show as EC3 will go up against Jay Briscoe in a singles bout as announced on ROH Week By Week. EC3 recently returned to ROH television and cost The Briscoes a No. 1 contender’s bout by paying off Flip Gordon to interfere.
“I very much look forward to etching my name amongst (and above) those who built the foundation Ring of Honor,” said EC3 upon his signing. “Competing with it’s exceptional roster, finishing what I have started with Jay Brisco, and carrying the #brand forward into the future it deserves.”
This is the second match made official for the 19th Anniversary show, which will take place on Friday, March 26. Headlining the card is a ROH Championship match between reigning champion Rush and former titleholder Jay Lethal.
