WWE legend Rikishi has revealed that his all-time favorite adversary in the wrestling ring was none other than Steve Austin.
Speaking at Comic-Con Northern Ireland recently, the dignitary of the WWE Hall of Fame shared why he holds Austin, also known as the “Rattlesnake,” as his most cherished opponent. He stated,
“Stone Cold Steve Austin is the one for me. Earlier, getting an opportunity to wrestle with some of the best in the business was a valuable learning experience. I was a mid-carder for most of my career, and then finally got a chance to step up.”
He further added, “It was wrestlers like Mick, Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, and Triple H who helped me raise the bar. They are the ones who made me understand the difference it takes to be on the top. And I’ll always be grateful for that.”
Meanwhile, NXT World Champion Ethan Page will put his title on the line against Trick Williams in the upcoming premiere episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network. During his recent chat on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he spoke about his confidence to retain his title. As he put it,
“I’m Ethan Page, incomparable in the room. It took maturity to be proud of myself and focus on the skills I know I am good at, rather than trying to compete with others in their fields.”
He also mentioned, “I bring to the table a uniqueness that can only be attributed to Ethan Page or ‘All Ego’. This is what I aim to deliver consistently. This distinction sets me apart as there has never been an ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page before me.”
