In a recent episode of his “Off the Top” podcast, famed WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi shed light on a new development involving his daughter-in-law, Naomi’s, radical shift to a heel character in the WWE. He voiced,
“You know, I’m baffled just like everybody else out there. I’m baffled, I’m hurt, I’m puzzled. I mean, I pointed out this last week. I uploaded a picture of [me, Cargill, Naomi, and Belair] on my Instagram account.”
Rikishi expressed his desire to gather everyone for an open, candid conversation, humorously suggesting a Waffle House as the potential meeting place.
In this month’s shocking revelation, it was uncovered that Naomi was the assailant who attacked Jade Cargill in the fall of 2024 leading to several months of inactivity, leaving fans in a state of surprise.
During the WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto event, Cargill made a surprise comeback and targeted Naomi, removing her former confidante from the Chamber match.
Insisting she attacked Cargill for her own needs and that of Bianca Belair’s, Naomi’s rationalization was dismissed by Belair, who distanced herself from her erstwhile tag team companion.
