Rikishi conveyed his desire for his trainees to land in WWE and rise to prominence as Superstars, over them establishing their reputation in AEW.
In a recent episode of his podcast, “Off the Top,” Rikishi discussed his vision regarding the wrestling path of his apprentices, and why he feels WWE should have an upper hand over any rival federations. He voiced out saying,
“I’ve always dreamt of you all joining WWE. WWE is our dwelling, we nurture a strong bond with WWE, and it’s a permanent fixture. No matter how many new entities arise, some today, some a couple of years later, WWE will always stick around.”
“In essence, when we require extras, I prefer bringing some of you along to get firsthand exposure, allowing you to understand how everything operates behind the facade.”
Rikishi was an active WWE participant from 1992 to 2004, enjoying multiple stints as a Tag Team Champion and a single run as Intercontinental Champion.
Additionally, the podcast featured Rikishi expressing his predictions on the potential comeback of the erstwhile Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. You can find his views in his podcasthere.
