On a recent episode of his podcast “Off the Top,” WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi shared his views on his son Solo Sikoa’s contributions to the main roster.
Rikishi was swift to establish that Sikoa is “already a made man” with his status as a main event player.
Rikishi noted, “Solo’s already a made man — Solo’s already a main event player. Considering robes, conferring it on Solo, it’s purely a revenue expansion tactic. Given, you impose it on the most despised guy in the profession currently, audience are eager to see who’s going to usurp him.”
In a recent conversation with “Metro,” UK’s Alistair McGeorge, WWE superstar Tiffany Stratton reminisced about her Extreme Rules Match against Becky Lynch at WWE NXT No Mercy 2024.
Lynch emerged victorious over Stratton and maintained her NXT Women’s Championship.
Brief highlights from the interview are given below:
Stratton’s recollections of her Extreme Rules Match with Becky Lynch: “During the moment, I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ when she struck me on the head with her hard hat leading to a bloody forehead,” Stratton shared her experience with “Metro UK.” “This led to a moment where I felt like crying.”
On her pre-match jitters: “The whole day was nerve-wracking for me, mainly because everything unfolded rapidly, and I felt unprepared.”
On Lynch’s instrumental role during the match: “Becky was excellent. She assisted me all through. I was in a nervous state that whole day, primarily because everything transpired very swiftly, and I felt ill-prepared,’ she said while reflecting on the thrilling day. The TV segments pass by so rapidly that you barely comprehend, and by the time it wrapped up, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s the end, that seemed so effortless!’”
