Riho Returns To AEW, Advances In Women’s Eliminator Tournament

The inaugural AEW Women’s Champion faced NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb in the first round of the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament. This was Riho’s first match in AEW in nearly a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two had a competitive back-and-forth bout, which eventually came to an end after Riho hit a double foot stomp and reversed a pin attempt by Deeb with her own.

With the victory, Riho will now face Thunder Rosa in the second round.
