Ridge Holland has established himself as a WWE Superstar but has his picks for who else on the roster would thrive on a rugby pitch.
Before signing with WWE, Holland played for various teams in Rugby League and made one appearance in the Super League for Hull Kingston Rovers in 2008.
During the “Cultaholic Wrestling” podcast, Holland said that despite the difference in size, both Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler would thrive at rugby. He said,
“Probably say, Brock Lesnar. He’d come out and take people’s heads off, you know, it would be awesome. Dolph Ziggler would be great as well. He’s really athletic, put him on the wing or maybe a stand-off on a scrum half! Have Sheamus as the waterboy. He’d do a good job doing that.”
Holland was drafted to SmackDown in 2021 and currently appears alongside Sheamus and Butch as the Brawling Brutes.
