SmackDown Superstar Ridge Holland is confident that Drew McIntyre will wrestle for WWE again amid his ongoing hiatus from TV.

McIntyre hasn’t appeared for WWE since WrestleMania 39 and has been negotiating a new contract given that his current deal will expire in early 2024.

Speaking to “Cultaholic” about his fellow British Superstar, Holland said that while he isn’t sure, he believes McIntyre will be back in the ring in the near future. He said,

“He’s fine. Drew’s fine. He’s probably in the gym as we speak lifting two cows, the big human. He’s fine, Drew’s good. I don’t know for sure, I don’t know anything, I just know how to throw a headbutt. I think, whether it’s a month from now, two months from now, three months from now, you’ll see Drew McIntyre back in a WWE ring.”

It has been reported that pitches have been made that would result in McIntyre’s return to TV, which WWE is eager to take place before Money in the Bank in London.
