Riddle Reportedly Got Backstage Heat For Roman Comments, WWE Files For New Trademark

WWE Superstar and current RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle recently gave his thoughts on Roman Reigns speaking about moving the needle, saying “You’re related to The Rock. Shut up. Like, I’m not impressed, I can beat you up in a real fight. So, shut your mouth. You’re not moving needles.”
According to The Wrestling Observer, numerous backstage officials were not happy with Riddle’s remarks, noting that there are no plans for Riddle to feud with Roman Reigns and the comments were completely unnecessary and unrelated to any storylines. Riddle reportedly received backstage heat from ‘certain circles’ for making the comments.
Speaking of Riddle and WWE, there was recently a new trademark request put in by WWE for Riddle. WWE filed to trademark the term “BroDown” on August 31 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The full report can be seen below.
“BRODOWN™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
