Ricochet, WWE’s notable athlete, has disappeared from the wrestling scene for now, with his departure left intentionally ambiguous in the storyline. The final sighting of Ricochet in the WWE was when he met with a brutal defeat at the hands of Bron Breakker. This incident had his character departing in an ambulance, with his betrothed Samantha Irvin by his side.

The ambiguous exit from WWE led fans to speculate on Ricochet’s eventual return for a counterstrike against Breakker, which hasn’t become a reality, at least not yet. Ricochet recently opened up about the unusual conditions surrounding his WWE farewell episode during an episode of the “Insight” podcast. His words were,

“I think they kind of left it open-ended for a reason, nobody really knew at that point what was going to happen. I think they were trying to leave it a little open-ended. I think we were still talking. So I think that’s why they kind of did it the way they did it, especially because Ricochet, he could have come right back in a couple of weeks. But no, it just didn’t go that way. Then I went this way and I’m really happy with everything that’s happened so far and, yeah, It’s been great.”

Interestingly, Ricochet resurfaced at AEW’s event, All In: London 2024, following his WWE exit. He has recaptured his foothold in the wrestling world, and now is a participant in the AEW International Championship.

Moreover, Ricochet has ambitiously aimed for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. Recently at the NJPW Power Struggle event, he made his intentions clear by attacking Zack Sabre Jr.
