Ricochet Was “Pretty Happy” With WWE Intercontinental Title Run
– ADVERTISMENT –

Ricochet was left feeling satisfied with his run as WWE Intercontinental Champion, but reckons there are still plenty of things left for him to do in the company.

During the March 4, 2022 episode of SmackDown, Ricochet defeated Sami Zayn to win the Intercontinental Championships, thanks to an assist by Johnny Knoxville.

The win made Ricochet the first person in history to have won SmackDown’s Intercontinental title, RAW’s U.S. Championship and NXT’s North American title.

On “Out of Character,” Ricochet shared his views on his reign with host Ryan Satin. He said,

“It felt great. I mean, to even be a part of the lineage that is the Intercontinental Championship is great to be able to etch your name in that history is amazing. I’m still fairly new here compared to a lot of the people who’ve been here for a decade-plus.

“I think there’s still more time to grow and there’s still more time to have those opportunities, but what I have had already, I was pretty happy with it.”

Ricochet’s reign would end on the June 10, 2022 edition of SmackDown at the hands of Gunther, who remains champion to this day.
