On the Christmas episode of WWE SmackDown, Ricochet teamed with Braun Strowman to handle Imperium in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight.
Throughout the match, Ricochet suffered a cut on his head that needed 6 stitches in his head to close the injury.
Ricochet discussed the match to Alistair McGeorge of the Metro and, throughout it, kept in mind that he attempted to duplicate a renowned area throughout Steve Austin’s match with Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13.
“Honestly, since it was bleeding a lot, certainly the physicians are gon na come out and look at you. I was attempting to in fact [copy] Stone Cold, WrestleMania 13, [nodding strongly] put it over my head, you understand what I imply?
“They resembled, ‘No, we can’t do that.’ Undoubtedly, since they’re the medical professionals, they’re like, ‘We got ta make certain you’re okay, what are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘Stop cleaning the blood,’ and they’re like, ‘No, we can’t, what are you doing?!’
“I’m going on 20 years now, which is quite insane. I believe after doing it so long, I believe you can evaluate the intensity of a circumstance. Truthfully, I believe it looked even worse than it was due to the fact that of the blood and whatever.”
