Samantha Irvin, renowned for her announcing prowess on Monday Night RAW, wholeheartedly supported wrestler Ricochet’s decision to make a shift from WWE to AEW. This was a transition that Ricochet, the erstwhile champion of WWE U.S., himself confirmed.
Ricochet made his AEW debut during the All In: London 2024 event, just a month back, following his departure from WWE earlier in the same year.
The globally known wrestler shared his thoughts on this significant change in his career, which also had an effect on his relationship with his partner, Samantha Irvin, on an episode of the well-known “Talk Is Jericho” podcast. He passionately admitted,
“We enjoy a wonderfully robust relationship. Whether it’s her or me, we always ask each other, what will genuinely bring you joy, then we support each other to achieve that. She appreciates the type of artist and wrestler I am, acknowledging not just the hindrances but also the unexplored potential. As per her, ‘What will make you truly happy will bring happiness to everyone because we thrive as a team. She endorses it. At the same time, she’s shaping her distinctive path, which I applaud. We’re well in the process of that, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Irvin has created a noteworthy impression with her work in the wrestling world, being applauded for her talent in introducing wrestlers on Monday Night RAW.
Not just fellow Superstars, but even the renowned announcer and WCW alum Michael Buffer has expressed admiration for Irvin’s skills as an announcer.
