Wrestling star Ricochet has recently found himself under the spotlight following the conclusion of his contract with WWE on July 1, officially making him a free agent. In a move that was seemingly self-initiated, he separated himself from the company.
According to reports from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ricochet is predicted to mark his entrance in AEW in the near future.
Despite being unable to make a contractual appearance at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view event, sources reveal that his representative was present backstage during AEW Dynamite earlier in the week. The representative counts multiple talents from both WWE and AEW among their clientele.
Ricochet’s stint with WWE was marked by success, with achievements ranging from winning major championships such as Intercontinental Title, America’s Championship, and NXT North American Title. Additionally, he emerged victorious in the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and holds the honor of being the very first WWE Speed Champion.
