Ricochet Gets Emotional After Latest Loss To Retribution, Promises Change
Ricochet’s loss to T-Bar last night has damaged the ego of the WWE Superstar. Having repeatedly come up short against Retribution, Ricochet is now searching for answers. The acrobatic wrestler got highly emotional during WWE RAW Talk.
“At the end of the day, I want to get up here and want to tell you guys so badly that it’s just another bump in the road and every time you fall off the horse you gotta get back on,” Ricochet said. “I want to say that so badly, but honestly, Charly? I’m pissed. I’m angry. I’m upset. Every time I fight, it doesn’t matter how hard I fight. I always end up the same way, which is some sort of pain. Every single time.
“If you would’ve asked me [if I’d join Retribution] a week ago, I would’ve confidently told you no. But now, now the more that I sit and I think about it. That’s the problem alone, I have to sit and think about it. I have to figure out what it is within myself why I continue to fail. I couldn’t hold onto the U.S. Championship for more than a couple of weeks. I couldn’t even touch Brock Lesnar. I couldn’t beat the Hurt Business and now I can’t beat Retribution. Something has got to change.
“I want to believe [that I can face them]. Something’s gotta change. I don’t know what that is. I’ve got to figure that out and I feel like I’m on the way. If I stay the same, the same things gonna happen, which is someone standing over me and me looking up at the lights. Every single night it’s the same, so something has got to change.”
