Ricochet recently made an appearance on the “WFFA” podcast, where he discussed the evolution of his heel character in AEW. He explained that his character’s development has been a tactical plan since his induction into the league.
Already a year into his journey with AEW, Ricochet made his debut at All In: London 2024. “From the moment I joined, I have been methodical about the growth of my character and deliberate about each step of the journey,” he commented. He further added that the audience’s reaction is a crucial factor in the direction a character takes. Though the journey’s time taken and path varies for each individual, he remained firm on his decision to stay himself, an integral part of his original plan.
In conversation with Denise Salcedo during another interview, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, too, expressed his aspiration for dream matches in AEW involving fellow wrestlers like Hangman Page, MJF, and many others. Mike Bailey imparted his thoughts saying, “There’s a surfeit of talented individuals I wish to compete against, but, as of now, Hangman Page is my top contender, with whom I have not competed before.”
He also expressed his excitement to watch Hangman wrestle Jon Moxley and appreciated Brodie King enormously. Looking forward to his potential match with MJF in the Hurt Syndicate, Bailey concluded, “Being able to work a match with MJF, who has a unique style, is something I am looking forward to immensely.”
