Ricky Starks Takes Down Trevor Murdoch, Wins NWA Worlds TV Title

Ricky Starks did it all tonight, as he ran through the gauntlet and made it out extremely successfully during tonight’s NWA Hard Times. Starks took down Trevor Murdoch to close out the show, winning the NWA Worlds Television Championship in an extremely great match.

Starks counters a suplex but Murdoch drops him with a boot. A shoulder block and a clothesline give Starks some momentum. Murdoch forces Starks down with a wristlock and a Russian Leg Sweep plants him. Murdoch drives Starks back-first into the apron. He sends Starks crashing into the steel steps. Murdoch slaps Starks and dumps him over the ropes. Starks crashes face-first onto the floor. Murdoch suplexes Starks and plants him right on his head. A clothesline nearly decapitates Starks and Murdoch gets a near fall. Starks collapses in the corner but he continues to fight. Starks powerbombs Murdoch off the second rope for a near fall.
A spear floors Murdoch and earns Starks another near fall. Starks hits the Stroke for the win.
