At Saturday night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, Cody Rhodes entered the men’s Royal Rumble match at No. 30 and went on to win the match. He will now go on to main event WrestleMania 39. Cody was not short on moral support in his first match in over six months, as his close friend, AEW’s Ricky Starks was backstage, as seen in a viral photo on Twitter.

Starks has now seemingly reacted to this viral photo with a tweet of his own:
Damn they brought back GTV

“Absolute” referenced the “GTV” storyline that played out in WWE in 1998-99, that involved an unknown entity setting up surveillance footage in different areas of arenas. While the storyline never reached a conclusion, not so coincidentally, there’s been speculation that Goldust (now Dustin Rhodes) would have been the person revealed behind the GTV videos.
