In an interview with Bill Apter at Sportskeeda, Ricky Starks was asked for his thoughts on his former Team Taz partner HOOK, who has been paired on television with Chris Jericho.

Starks gave his advice for HOOK to stay away from Jericho. He said,

“HOOK is the man. He’s really cool. I don’t know if HOOK needs someone to take him under his wing. Don’t forget, his father is Taz. If I was HOOK, I would politely decline Jericho’s offer and go talk to his dad, or me,” he said.

Former Team Taz member Ricky Starks recently shared his thoughts on his former partner HOOK and his pairing with Chris Jericho on television. In an interview with Bill Apter at Sportskeeda, Starks offered some advice to HOOK, urging him to stay away from Jericho.

Starks began by praising HOOK, describing him as “the man” and someone who is really cool. However, he also highlighted the fact that HOOK’s father is none other than Taz, a legendary figure in the world of professional wrestling. Starks believes that with Taz as his father, HOOK doesn’t necessarily need someone to take him under their wing.

“If I was HOOK, I would politely decline Jericho’s offer and go talk to his dad, or me,” Starks suggested.

Starks’ advice stems from his understanding of the wrestling industry and the importance of learning from experienced individuals who have already made a name for themselves. While Chris Jericho is undoubtedly a seasoned veteran and a respected figure in the business, Starks believes that HOOK can benefit more from seeking guidance from his own father or even himself.

The advice given by Starks reflects the camaraderie and mentorship that often exists within the wrestling community. It is not uncommon for wrestlers to offer guidance and support to younger talents, especially if they have a personal connection or shared experiences.

Furthermore, Starks’ suggestion highlights the significance of family ties in professional wrestling. HOOK’s lineage as the son of Taz could provide him with unique insights and opportunities within the industry. By seeking advice from his father or other trusted individuals like Starks, HOOK can tap into a wealth of knowledge and experience that can help shape his career.

It is worth noting that Starks’ comments should not be interpreted as a criticism of Chris Jericho. Instead, they serve as a reminder that sometimes the best guidance can come from those closest to us or those who have walked a similar path.

As HOOK continues his journey in the wrestling world, it will be interesting to see how he navigates the opportunities and challenges that come his way. Whether he chooses to follow Starks’ advice or forge his own path, one thing is certain – HOOK has a bright future ahead of him, with the support and guidance of both his father and the wrestling community.
