Rickey Shane Page has reportedly ended his contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW), according to Fightful Select. This split is believed to have been amicable, and both parties have expressed interest in collaborating again in the future.
Page is known for his previous accomplishments in MLW, having won the MLW National Openweight Championship and World Tag Team Championship. His last in-ring appearance took place at the Battle Riot on June 1st.
MLW has also officially announced a match between KENTA and AKIRA at the MLW Summer of the Beasts event. Set to take place at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City on August 29th, fans can expect a unique blend of grappling and striking techniques between the two wrestlers. Both KENTA and AKIRA earn their place in this match through impressive victories – KENTA against Bobby Fish while AKIRA against Ikuro Kwon.
KENTA, a renowned world-class wrestler known for his striking prowess and grappling abilities, is on a mission to become the first Japanese wrestler to win the Opera Cup.
