WrestleCon banned Rick Steiner after he allegedly hurled transphobic slurs at Impact Wrestling star Gisele Shaw over WrestleMania 39 weekend.

The story was covered by a news station in Atlanta, GA as 11 Alive News published an article on the incident.

For those unaware, Rick Steiner is a member of the local school board in Cherokee County, Georgia which is the reason behind the Atlanta news station’s coverage of the bitter incident.

Steiner refused multiple requests to comment on the story and the school couldn’t issue a statement due to Spring Break. So far, Steiner is refusing to apologize for his comments and hasn’t been in contact with Gisele Shaw.

Shaw had multiple witnesses in Impact Wrestling referee Daniel Spencer alongside on-air Impact personality Gia Miller, both of whom have supported Shaw’s allegations and came to her defense.

WrestleCon informed Steiner on Saturday that he would not be allowed to enter or partake in the remaining WrestleCon events.
