Ric Flair On Chemistry – Compares Charlotte & Mone To Himself And Steamboat

Ric Flair sees a lot of his legendary feud with Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat when he goes back and watches matches between Charlotte and Mercedes Mone.

Prior to Mone’s exit from WWE, she and Charlotte faced off several times, with Mone dethroning Flair as RAW Women’s Champion during the July 25, 2016, RAW.

Speaking about what makes a great wrestling match in an interview with FOX News, Ric spoke about the importance of chemistry and compared the two feuds. He said,

“I think the most important [thing] is the chemistry between two people… Sasha Banks [now Mercedes Moné] is one of my favorites and she and my daughter [Charlotte Flair] remind me of me and Ricky Steamboat. Just had unbelievable chemistry … we had chemistry from day one. We were good friends but we never hung out with each other.”

Mone is currently out of action recovering from an ankle injury suffered at NJPW Resurgence earlier this year and appeared at last month’s AEW All In.
