Ric Flair Doesn’t Think Tag Team Title Match Should Have Headlined WrestleMania 39 (Night One)

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently talked about a wide range of topics on his To Be The Man podcast.

During the podcast, The Nature Boy shared his belief that Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Title should’ve headlined WWE WrestleMania 39 (Night One) instead of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn beating The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. He said,

There’s no way that Sami and KO and the Usos [should] go on after [Charlotte] and Rhea. Only in the WWE.

It was pointed out that the tag team match had months of storyline behind it. Flair argued that it was a ‘tradition’ that the Royal Rumble winner main events WrestleMania.
