Wrestling legend Ric Flair had expressed displeasure when Tiffany Stratton made a jibe related to Charlotte Flair’s three divorces during a fiery segment on WWE SmackDown.
Stratton made a daring assertion predicting Charlotte’s defeat at WrestleMania 41. She added insult to injury by referencing Flair’s unsuccessful marital history, remarking that Flair has ‘0-3’ record in marriages.
During a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Flair was queried about the remark that had become a point of discussion. His response was,
“I do have a viewpoint, but I prefer not to articulate it. I’ll just say it’s a delicate area. I didn’t appreciate it, but then again, wrestling is wrestling,”
Flair also felt uncomfortable with Stratton bringing his name up during their on-screen encounter, where she asserted that Charlotte will never upstage him. He refuted this notion by saying,
“I dislike it when my name is invoked, but as Charlotte rightly pointed out—do you believe it’s the first time my name has been mentioned? She is a superior athlete than I ever was. Her wrestling skills outmatch mine by far. I can’t replicate even half of her moves,”
Interestingly, it was reported that Flair and Stratton veered from the script during their segment. The duo is set to compete for the Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41.
