Rhea Ripley kicked in the new year in a big way, taking down Shayna Baszler to capture the NXT Championship in grand fashion. During her first chance at defending the belt, Ripley didn’t disappoint, taking down Toni Storm in an incredible match to retain her grip on the belt. With some of her main rivals – including Bianca Belair – watching from the crowd, Ripley continued to show why she’s one of the best in the business, and is now ready to continue defending the title from anyone.
