Rhea Ripley – ‘My Style Has Inspired Fans To Accept Themselves’

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has a very unique look, one that has inspired members of the WWE Universe to be themselves.

Ripley captured the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship since WrestleMania 39 and was crowned the Women’s World Champion after being drafted to RAW this year.

Speaking with “InStyle,” Ripley explained how her unique punk-inspired look has helped inspire fans to be themselves. She said,

“I’ll get messages on Instagram, Twitter. I’ll get people coming up to me in person just being like, ‘Rhea, I love your style. You helped me accept me for me.’”

Ripley looked far different when she joined WWE in 2017 and believes she has finally settled into a role that she dreamed of for a long time. She said,

“It sort of brought out this side of me that I always wanted to be, but never thought that I would fit the mold of society. It’s cool to be in that sort of spotlight, to inspire [fans] to do what they want to do with their bodies and to not be ashamed of it and not really care what anyone else thinks because it’s what they think of themselves that really means the most.”

Ripley is not booked for this weekend’s SummerSlam but will likely attend next week’s NXT when Dominik Mysterio defends the North American Championship against Dragon Lee.
