In last night’s WWE Raw, the match between Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan ended in defeat for the former duo.
A critical turning point in the match occurred when Morgan cunningly distracted the referee, allowing Dominik to secure the pinfall triumph over his father, Rey.
Post-match, previous WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, made her grand return to the WWE, chasing away Morgan and initiating a face-off with Dominik.
Interestingly, Mysterio has created a new milestone for the highest number of televised matches by a WWE Hall of Famer. This achievement outpaces the previous record established by Jerry “The King” Lawler.
The episode of Raw on July 8th marked the 33rd televised match for Mysterio since his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
