At the recent River City Wrestling Con Q&A panel, Trish Stratus expressed her unfamiliarity with the term retirement.

Alongside her, WWE Hall of Famer Lita opined on why maintaining a mindset of perpetual readiness, rather than retirement, is beneficial.

Highlights of the discussion are outlined below:

Talking about retirement, Trish Stratus humorously said: “Retirement? What’s retirement? This term doesn’t ring a bell. We just stay prepared. It’s a universal statement that we [Trish & Lita] like to adhere to, just in case.”

Lita shared why holding onto this mentality can be advantageous: “It is beneficial because plans in this arena change frequently, and usually, you don’t get much advance notice. So, I’ve learned not to get too enthused until I’m actually walking out from behind the curtain. A proposed idea may change numerous times before it’s implemented.”
