The show commences with an appearance by Rhea Ripley, who alerts us that “Mami’s home”. She informs that a gap of three months has occurred since she entered this ring, and the reason was Liv Morgan. Ripley accuses Morgan of illegally claiming something that belongs to her, and it’s not Dominik Mysterio. That something being the Women’s World Championship. She calls out Liv with an intention to tear her down. Dominik Mysterio arrives with a black rose for Mamacita but fails to catch her attention.
Soon, Liv Morgan shows up on the screen. She relays that she aspires to snatch everything that Ripley cherishes, including Dominik. She opens up about her changed perception of Dominik. She confesses about the connection she felt after an intimate moment with him. While Ripley was away, Liv was in control. Now, that Ripley is back, Liv declares her dominance. In response, Ripley dares Morgan for a title bout at SummerSlam. Morgan retaliates, vowing to crush Ripley just as she aided Dom to defeat his negligent father. Once Liv disappears, Rhea assures via the camera that she will terminate her rival’s career.
