CMLL celebrated its 91st anniversary with a grand event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Below is a recap of the key happenings and result of the matches held last night:
To kick off the event, the team of Los Viajeros del Espacio, comprising of Futuro, Max Star and Hombre Bala Jr., triumphed over Los Depredadores, composed of Magnus, Rugido and Magia Blanca.
Soberano Jr. teamed up with Los Hermanos Chavez, Niebla Roja and Ángel de Oro, to win against Templario, Neon and Star Jr. in a thrilling 2 out of 3 falls match.
In the 2024 Copa Independencia Tournament Finals, Titán emerged victorious against Máscara Dorada.
One of the most unexpected moments of the night came when Orange Cassidy was attacked by Chris Jericho and Big Bill while delivering a promo backstage.
In the CMLL Women’s World Championship Match, Zeuxis dethroned Willow Nightingale to win the title.
Following this, Volador Jr., Atlantis Jr. and Ultimo Guerrero defeated Rocky Romero, KOJIMA, and Orange Cassidy in yet another nail-biting 2 out of 3 falls match.
In the Mask Quadrangular, Hechicero stood victorious forcing Euforia to unmask, while Místico triumphed over Chris Jericho in the final 2 out of 3 falls match. Post match, Jericho and Bill assaulted Místico, but Cassidy intervened for the rescue.
