The seventh night of the internationally recognized NJPW G1 Climax 34 wrestling contest took place at the heart of Fukuoka, Japan in the Fukuoka Convention Center.
The evening was packed with riveting duels. To start off, the duo of Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano, representing Be-Bop Tag Team, emerged victorious over Just 5 Guys, consisting of TAKA Michinoku & Yuya Uemura. Next up, Los Ingobernables de Japon’s team of BUSHI & Yota Tsuji defeated the duo of Katsuya Murashima & Oleg Boltin.
Further, the United Empire, represented by HENARE & Jeff Cobb, bested Guerrillas Of Destiny, consisting of El Phantasmo & Jado. House Of Torture’s Ren Narita & Yoshinobu Kanemaru also bested Hirooki Goto & Tomoaki Honma. Not to be left behind, Francesco Akira & Konosuke Takeshita emerged victorious against BULLET CLUB War Dogs’ David Finlay & Gedo.
As the NJPW G1 Climax 34 A Block matches ensued, EVIL stood undefeated with a 5-0 score, earning 10 points by defeating Callum Newman. Great-O-Khan marked his first victory by defeating Jake Lee; both Great-O-Khan and Jake Lee were left with one win and four losses each. Shota Umino beat Zack Sabre Jr., and Gabe Kidd triumphed over Shingo Takagi. The climax to the A Block matches was Tetsuya Naito’s victory against SANADA.
