AEW’s wrestling star, Saraya, will be featuring in an episode of the reality TV show, Catfish, on MTV. However, the air date and her role in the episode have yet to be announced. Catfish focuses on a variety of human stories that touch on issues like abuse, racism, and illness, whilst trying to propose solutions.
Big Bill, another AEW wrestler who is being mentored by Chris Jericho, recently shared a video on Twitter, revealing lessons he has learned from Jericho. The video is titled “Start your week off right with Learning Tree Lessons w/ Big Bill part 2”.
AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale is scheduled to defend her title against Tam Nakano at the ‘Flashing Champions’ event by STARDOM on May 18th. Taro Okada, who organised the match, confirmed that AEW recommended that the match takes place before Double or Nothing 2024. Willow Nightingale versus Mercedes Mone is also expected at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.
On another note, El Desperado had positive things to say about Blake Christian ahead of their match at NJPW’s ‘Best of Super Juniors 31’ event on May 19th. Desperado compared Christian to a young Will Ospreay. He also commented that he values Best of the Super Juniors as much as the IWGP title, as it is the only equivalent of the G1 title for the heavyweights in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
