WWE’s Next Saudi Arabia Event Reportedly Set For February
WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia and hosting another pay-per-view event. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the event will be on February 20. No other details are available at this time, but an official announcement is expected soon. The currently unnamed event will be the fifth WWE pay-per-view hosted in Saudi Arabia; previously, the company held WWE Greatest Royal Rumble, WWE Crown Jewel (2018), WWE Super ShowDown and WWE Crown Jewel (2019) in Saudi Arabia.
After travel issues plagued last year’s WWE Crown Jewel event, the company’s relationship with Saudi Arabia seemed strained at best. But shortly after the event, WWE released a press release that confirmed a new deal in which it will host two annual events in Saudi Arabia. The press release, per WWE’s corporate website, reads as follows:
WWE® AND THE SAUDI GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT AUTHORITY EXPAND EVENT PARTNERSHIP

WWE and GEA also continue to work towards the completion of a media agreement in the MENA region.
This long-term partnership demonstrates WWE and GEA’s commitment to bring sports entertainment to the region and supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
