Sting, the iconic wrestler, might be on the verge of making a significant return to WWE, years after bidding adieu to the promotion. As per recent reports, this heavily anticipated return could be just weeks away if Lex Luger and the wrestling company can align their plans.

According to exclusive news from Fightful Select, it’s reported that Luger has chosen Sting as his top pick to usher him into the spotlight at his induction. Currently, WWE is spearheading efforts to bring this to fruition.

Sting has been a vital part of AEW since 2020. Although he announced his retirement last year, he still holds a contractual agreement similar to that of a WWE Legends deal.

Luger and Sting aren’t just friends on a personal level, but also former tag-team cohorts. Together, they have earned the title of former WCW World Tag Team Champions.

The cherished WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is slated to happen on April 18 in the bustling city of Las Vegas. Joining Luger for this momentous occasion will be Triple H, Michelle McCool, and the Natural Disasters, who are set to be honoured alongside him.
