Rey Fenix has become an unrestricted free agent post his exit from AEW earlier this week.
It’s highly anticipated that Fenix might be on his way to WWE, where he plans to join forces with PENTA, an idea originally conceived by the Lucha Brothers prior to AEW adding extra time to Fenix’s contract due to injury.
Since he made his first appearance in WWE, Penta has been given a push as an upcoming superstar.
Fightful has mentioned that when probed about Fenix’s prospective engagement with WWE, informants proposed that he is due to participate in WWE’s medical examinations soon.
Word has it that WWE’s merchandise and creative factions are already gearing up in anticipation of Fenix’s entry, indicating that he might be in the process to officially sign a contract, if it hasn’t been done already.
