Report: WWE NXT To Return To Two-Day Taping Schedule After NXT TakeOver 36

WWE NXT Results NXT viewership

WWE NXT is reportedly returning to a block taping schedule.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, NXT will tape shows in advance at the Capitol Wrestling Center on Monday and Tuesday after NXT TakeOver 36 on Sunday, August 21.

The reasoning behind this change is unclear at this time.

Ross Sapp also reported that some fans and regulars who have attended recent NXT shows have been asked to request their spots for this block of tapings.

NXT used a similar approach for the shows it taped during its two-week stretch on the SyFy channel; USA Network’s coverage of the Olympic Games pushed the show off its usual network.

The black-and-gold brand has faced a few setbacks recently; from waves of releases to a reported shift in the philopsophy about the program itself, it has certainly been tumultuous few weeks.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
