Report: WWE Money In The Bank PPV Won’t Happened As Planned In May
WWE looked to bring the Money In The Bank pay-per-view to Baltimore but the Charm City might have to wait a bit longer.
According to @WrestleVotes, Money In The Bank may not happen as planned and it’s unknown when or where the event would take place considering how fluid the situation is due to the coronavirus pandemic. MITB was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 9 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, with tickets already on sale on March 10.
This would have marked the second time WWE held the Money In The Bank pay-per-view in May; it was hosted in July and later June in the first nine years of existence. This also would have been the first WWE pay-per-view event for Baltimore since they hosted Extreme Rules on June 4, 2017.
The following events are also currently scheduled for the 2020 WWE PPV event calendar:
April 4 and 5 — WrestleMania 36 — WWE Performance Center (Orlando)
July 19 — Extreme Rules — SAP Center (San Jose, California)
August 22 — NXT TakeOver: Boston — TD Garden (Boston)
August 23 — SummerSlam — TD Garden (Boston)
October 25* — NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin — 3Arena (Dublin, Ireland / originally scheduled for April 26)
