The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) franchise might be organizing its inaugural Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in the United Kingdom next year around March, according to rumors circulating recently.
WWE is believed to be eyeing either Birmingham or Manchester, both in England, as the potential location for the Elimination Chamber showdown.
The Elimination Chamber show earlier this year was held in Perth, Australia, marking WWE’s first pay-per-view spectacle in the country since 2018.
Apart from the Elimination Chamber, renowned wrestlers John Cena and Cody Rhodes are also campaigning for the famous WrestleMania event to be held in the UK soon.
In the past few years, WWE has expanded its global reach by hosting numerous major shows beyond North America in countries like the UK, Australia, France, and Germany.
Additionally, earlier rumors suggested that WWE is contemplating hosting a pay-per-view spectacle in Italy in 2025, but an official announcement about this is still pending.
In terms of recent European events, WWE most recently thrilled fans with the Bash in Berlin last month, marking the franchise’s first pay-per-view show in Germany.
The WWE is all set to embark on its newest tour of the United Kingdom later this month, with performances scheduled in London, Cardiff, Sheffield, and various other places.
Adding to the UK fever, John Cena recently expressed his wish to bring WrestleMania to London, in a Money in the Bank 2023 highlights video.
