Report: WWE Discussing Tribute To The Troops Revival In 2020
After a year off, WWE Tribute To The Troops could be making its return in 2020.
According to a report by PWInsider.com, there has been a great deal of discussion within WWE about reviving the Tribute To The Troops event this year, and would potentially host it next month.
WWE ran Tribute To The Troops every year from 2003 through 2019, airing each event on television with the exception of the 2019 edition of the show. WWE initially hosted the special event on various military bases in Iraq and Baghdad, but moved the shows to the United States in a variety of arenas and bases. WWE did host a 2019 event at Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina, but opted not to air the show on television.
