Earlier this week, WWE’s Renee Young revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19. According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), WWE was not happy Young revealed the news, and didn’t do much in the way of checking in on Young.

In the newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Young immediately acknowledging that she had tested positive did “not go over well” with WWE, especially because the company had yet to acknowledge the cases of any of their superstars or any extended family. Meltzer goes on to say that Young began feeling sick earlier this week, which is when she and her husband – All Elite Wrestling’s Jon Moxley – got tested.

While Moxley tested negative, Young was revealed to have tested positive. While Young was recovering, Meltzer noted that none of the higher ups at WWE contacted Young to see how she was doing, although many superstars did. Thankfully, reports are that Young didn’t get incredibly sick, and the worst of her feelings had gone away as the week went on.
