Report – WWE Champion Considered For TNA Hall Of Fame

Wrestling phenom, AJ Styles had a fruitful stint at NJPW and is currently having a splendid career in WWE, though his legacy in TNA Wrestling remains fresh in the minds of many enthusiasts.

Styles was counted among the original pool of athletes that joined TNA Wrestling in 2002. Known to fans as The Phenomenal One, he waved goodbye to TNA in 2014, switched his league to ROH before finally landing at NJPW.

Making a thrilling WWE entry in 2016, Styles was drafted straight into the main roster.

This past Saturday, TNA Wrestling staged their 2024 Hall Of Fame ceremony, paying tribute to Bob Ryder and Rhino with induction honors.

According to reports by Fightful Select, Styles and Monty Brown were among the considered candidates for this prestigious ceremony.

Styles’ shot at induction wasn’t completely ruled out as WWE did consider him but eventually decided otherwise.

As noted in the report, “We weren’t told specifically why, but people in TNA think it’s due to AJ’s injury or active storyline.”

It’s been indicated that Styles is open to the idea of wrestling in TNA as a piece of WWE’s ongoing association with the Anthem-owned league, though it’s uncertain whether this topic was ever broached.
