Reportedly, Vince McMahon is preparing to revisit the Monday Night Wars via his latest venture in the entertainment sector.
In recent news, McMahon was reported to be in the process of establishing a fresh brand focused on aiding TV and film project’s production.
During a conversation with “Wrestling Shoot Interviews,” Eric Bischoff suggested that one of McMahon’s plans includes tackling the Monday Night Wars in a project. He mentioned,
“McMahon has a unique take on the Monday Night Wars, something we’ve never heard before. It’s intriguing to think that he might reveal aspects of that period that have yet to be explored. I mean, it’s quite a topic that has been extensively covered, but who knows? That’s one project in particular.”
Presenting the Monday Night Wars will require a delicate balance for McMahon and his relationship with WWE, the legal owner of WWE RAW and WCW Monday Nitro footage.
Bischoff also shared that McMahon is inviting former WWE personalities to be a part of his new brand. He stated,
“A few hires have been made. One of them is Kristen Prouty, a past WWE associate. Based out of Los Angeles, she was heavily involved in PR roles. Her connections included several celebrities and she was instrumental in bridging the Hollywood-WWE gap when the company needed star power and lacked direct contacts.
“Over her likely ten-year stint, she worked closely with McMahon, though she never had him as a direct report. However, her work was integral to what we saw on WWE during her tenure.”
In January 2024, McMahon stepped down from WWE due to a sexual abuse and trafficking lawsuit by Janel Grant against the former WWE CEO.
