As per exclusive coverage by Fightful Select, professional wrestler TJ Perkins (TJP) is reportedly an independent agent and fulfilling his commitment to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) devoid of any contractual obligations. Despite having presented him with a new contract proposal, NJPW has yet to secure his consent. Regardless, it is suggested that relations between both parties remain cordial.
TJP was invited by NJPW to participate in the impending Best of the Super Juniors tournament, hoping to have him play a crucial part. However, he chose not to seize this opportunity. Despite his refusal, TJP is projected to be seen in several upcoming NJPW matches.
